Quiet Magic
They tell you that time moves differently once you bring a newborn home. They’re right.
The first two weeks are a hazy, beautiful whirlwind of milk, tiny sighs, and the softest skin imaginable. But here is the bittersweet truth: babies don’t keep. In what feels like a single blink, those curled-up toes uncurl, and that "newborn scrunch" becomes a memory.
I had the pleasure of meeting baby J, and his session reminded me exactly why I do what I do.
Why Should You Hire a Newborn Photographer?
I know the "To-Do" list is long. You're nesting, you're tired, and you might be thinking, “I’ll just take some photos on my phone.” iPhone photos are wonderful for the everyday, but a professional newborn session is about capturing the beauty of the beginning.
The Details Fade Fast: You think you’ll remember the exact curve of their eyelashes or the way their skin peeled slightly on their tiny ankles. But the fog of sleep deprivation is real. I’m here to be your memory’s backup drive.
You Deserve to be in the Frame: Most moms spend the first year behind the camera. I make sure you look and feel beautiful, capturing those first tender gazes between you and your miracle.
Safety is Everything: Professional newborn photography is a specialized skill. I’ve spent years learning the safe, physiological way to pose infants so they are comfortable and secure at all times.
The Window is Small
The ideal window for those sleepy, curled-up portraits is between 5 and 14 days old. Because of this narrow timeframe, make sure you book your session early. Don’t wait until the baby is born.
If you are currently pregnant—whether you’re twelve weeks along or thirty-five—now is the moment to get on the books.
A Note to the Tired Mom: You don’t have to worry about a thing. I have everything I need to photograph your baby. You bring the baby; I’ll capture the magic.
Ready to Preserve These Days?
Don't let these fleeting moments become a "wish I had." Let’s document the tiny details before they change forever.
